A home theater system is one of the electronics equipments by which any one can feel the excitement of theater at home. A quality home theater system will give you the benefits of the latest media technologies and the satisfaction at par. Truly speaking Whether you are showing a watching your favorite television program, showing a great movie, or playing the hottest tunes, a home theater system will give you the most from whatever media you choose. In a setup for home theater systems, the placement of the loudspeakers and subwoofers is probably the most critical. Your setup will be determined by such factors as the room shape and its acoustics, and the type of speakers you have. For starters, you may follow some general guidelines which could be sufficient for basic installations in a rectangular room. Appropriate adjustments have to be taken if you are installing a sound system in other room shapes and with different types of acoustics as well as speakers.
The front of the listening section is where you should directly place the front center channel speaker in your home theater. This area should be either above or below the TV, projection screen or video display. The subwoofer position should be to the left or right of the TV. It is also important that the left and right main/front speakers are placed equidistant at about a 30-degree angle from the front center channel speaker. The left and right surround speakers can be placed above the listeners, about 90-100 degrees from the center channel, slightly behind or to the side of the listening area.
