The master bedroom is your personal sanctuary within your home, and as such it should be decorated in master bedroom colors which enhance the space while making you feel your best. There are several excellent master bedroom colors that you can choose. These master bedroom colors separate into two categories; warm and cool colors. Warm colours, including reds, yellows, oranges and browns, can create a feeling of sensual indulgence or relaxation, depending on the shade. Even purples that tend more toward red than blue can create a feeling of warmth and romance. For a bright master bedroom that gives you a cheerful start to the day, try a bright salmon colour on the walls, combined with a white ceiling and semigloss bright white trim. For a more subtle approach, try peach paint with glossy stained wood trim. Warm purple can work as well as red for this purpose, and adding an accent wall that is a solid version of your glaze colour will add drama to the room.
Then in cool master bedroom colors, many people prefer cool blues and greens for relaxation, but dark shades of cool colours can make a room feel oppressive or cold. If you prefer cools, aim for medium to light tones, such as sage green or blues that evoke images of the ocean or sky. For medium to darker blues, use the blue only on the top half to two-thirds of the wall, then add horizontal trim and paint the bottom half a lighter shade of the same colour. With these colors, your master bedroom can become a heavenly retreat, which makes you think of vacations long past, or a cosy spalike retreat that beckons to you every day.
